The crown is bonded securely onto the prepared tooth using dental cement.
Final adjustments are made to ensure proper fit and bite alignment.

Traditionally, getting a dental crown involved multiple appointments. During the first visit, the tooth would be prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary crown placed. The impression would then be sent to a dental lab to fabricate the crown, a process that could take weeks. Once ready, a second appointment would be necessary to fit and place the permanent crown.
In contrast, CEREC same-day crowns streamline this process. After preparing your tooth, we use CEREC’s digital scanning technology to create a precise 3D model of your tooth. This model is then used to design and mill your custom crown on-site, allowing us to fit and bond your new crown during the same visit.
